Yesterday I managed 2,658 words and changed 20 little boxes on my Excel to-do list to yellow.
And that was with chasing pug Pearl off the couch about 12 times, playing fetch about 10 times, playing tug-of-war twice, taking six walks, AND my efforts to heat my pool by strategically placing/shifting rafts in different places to absorb heat…
If I could keep at that pace, I think I could be “done” in 36 more days. But, that was a pretty focused day (all things considered).
Today – I’ll be sitting in the sales center in my neighborhood. Even though that should be ideal writing time, I struggle to put words on the page when I’m hanging out there.
